In this video our marketing manager Jono takes a look at an exciting project the Tradesales team is working on for Fortescue Metals Group. The team are modifying and outfitting eight sea containers for use as versatile workplace facilities.
The project involves adding:
- Shelving
- Power
- Lighting
- Insulation
- Windows
- Air-conditioning
- Personnel access doors
- And roller doors.
When these containers are delivered to site, they will be stacked two high underneath a fabric shelter — creating a turnkey workshop, office and storage solution for FMG’s operations. Many of Australia’s biggest mining and industrial operations choose modified container solutions for their workplace’s facilities. This is because they are relocatable, cost-effective and can easily be removed from site when end-of-mine life has been reached.
